About the Journal

In recent years, the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (FTSL) at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), together with postgraduate students, has organized Konferensi Nasional Pascasarjana Teknik Sipil (KNPTS) annually. This event has proven to be an effective forum for sharing research results, expanding academic networks, and strengthening postgraduate students’ contributions to the advancement of civil engineering knowledge in Indonesia.

In response to the growing need to enhance the quality and reach of academic activities, this year the conference has been elevated to an international scale under a new name: International Postgraduate Conference on Civil Engineering (IPCCE). This transformation is expected to open broader opportunities for international collaboration, enrich academic perspectives, and strengthen FTSL ITB’s position as a leading center for research and education in civil engineering at the global level.

IPCCE 2025 is scheduled was held on December 3–4, 2025, under the main theme “Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainable Development: Innovations and Challenges in Civil Engineering.” The conference aims to bring together academics, researchers, students, and practitioners from Indonesia and abroad to discuss current issues and emerging research trends in civil engineering.

With the support of FTSL ITB as the main organizing institution, this event will not only enhance the faculty’s academic reputation on the international stage but also make a tangible contribution to strengthening research networks and global collaboration — in line with ITB’s vision of becoming a world-class university.

 

Objectives and Purpose

The International Postgraduate Conference on Civil Engineering (IPCCE) 2025 is intended as an international academic forum that provides a platform for postgraduate students, researchers, and practitioners to present their research findings, exchange knowledge, and establish collaborative networks in the field of civil engineering. This event also aims to strengthen the position of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (FTSL) ITB as a center of academic and research excellence at the global level.

About the Journal

International Postgraduate Conference on Civil Engineering (IPCCE) is a peer-reviewed scientific conference proceedings journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research in the fields of infrastructure planning, civil engineering, and other related fields.

The journal aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to publish original research articles, review papers, and case studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in sustainable infrastructure development and environmental management.

IPCCE publishes papers covering, but not limited to, the following topics:

  • Infrastructure planning and development
  • Transportation engineering and systems
  • Structural engineering
  • Geotechnical engineering
  • Water resources engineering
  • Environmental engineering and sustainability
  • Construction management
  • Urban and regional infrastructure systems
  • and other related fields

The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches and innovative solutions addressing contemporary challenges in infrastructure development, environmental sustainability, and resilient civil engineering systems.

IPCCE is published by the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.

This inaugural issue presents selected research articles addressing emerging challenges in civil engineering, infrastructure planning, and environmental sustainability. The issue highlights interdisciplinary approaches to sustainable infrastructure systems and innovative engineering solutions.
